Annual Harambee – November 17

harambee

Our annual Harambee event is scheduled for November 17 starting at 6:30pm at the Wolverine Publick House at 316 Willow Street in Fort Collins, Colorado. “Harambee” means “all together” in Swahili, and is used to describe events and initiatives where people join forces to make a difference; it’s a very apropos title for our event!

Our Harambee will again feature a marketplace of beadwork by our women artisan partners, as well as new ‘beyond beadwork’ products including visual arts, bags, baskets and more. Every purchase supports the Kenyan women artists who made it all.

The Harambee is open to the public. We plan it to avoid any feelings of a a high pressure fundraising environment. Come learn about our impact on youth and women in northern Kenya, do a little shopping, and help us make a difference for others.
